Jo Letta Stephens

Jo Letta Taylor Stephens, 53, of Katy, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in Katy. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Jo Letta was born on October 27, 1956 in Killeen to Joe and Ann Whitmire Taylor. She married Harold Stephens on February 9, 1986 in Stephenville and they have resided in Katy for the past six years after previously living in Stephenville. She was a Baptist. Jo Letta was a loving and devoted wife and mother and a very giving soul, who was a friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jo Letta is survived by her loving husband, Harold (H.R.) Stephens; daughter, Natasha Stephens of Katy; mother, Ann Oxley and husband Charles of Hico; sisters, Gayla Lewis and Roy Garrison of Stephenville, Melissa Henderson and husband Glenn of Hico; brothers, Alfred Taylor and wife Melanie of Keller; Terry Oxley of Granbury; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
