Jo Ann Aldridge

July 21, 1940 — September 20, 2008

Jo Ann Aldridge, 68, died Saturday, September 20, 2008, at her home in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 26, at Stephenville Funeral Home with David Harris officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home Jo Ann was born July 21, 1940 to the late Earmon and Mamie Crabtree McChristial in Clauene, Texas. She graduated from Stephenville High School in 1958, and attended Brantley-Draughan Business College in Fort Worth. She worked for the Stephenville Bank and Trust Company beginning in 1964 until her retirement as Vice-President in 2001. Jo Ann was a faithful Christian and lifelong member of the Church of Christ and attended the Hillcrest Church of Christ. She enjoyed the outdoors, singing, and any activity involving her children and grandchildren. She was blessed with a loving family and many close friends. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and John Allen of Del Rio, Texas, and Julie and David Phillips of Abilene, Texas; five grandchildren, Cassie and husband, Pat Penn, Laura Allen, Travis Phillips, Patrick Phillips, and Kimberly Phillips; two great grandsons, John Allen Penn and Seth Andrew Penn, and a son-at-heart, Mike and wife Donna Vincent of West, Texas. She is also survived by her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Rex Owens of Fort Worth and Frances and Glenn Parker of Bakersfield, California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents, Jo Ann was also preceded in death by her step-father, Eual Pack. The family would like to thank her friends at Solaris Healthcare for the loving care she was given during the last few months. Memorials may be made in her memory to Solaris Healthcare.
