Jimmy Chuck Malaer

Jimmy 'Chuck' Malaer, 73, of Stephenville, passed away August 31, 2018, in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Slayton officiating. Interment will follow at the Wests End Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Chuck was born on December 21, 1944 in Luling, Texas to the late Marvin Glyn Malaer and Claudia Curry Malaer. He married the love of his life, Rebecca Hicks on September 15, 1967 in Stephenville and together they raised four children. Chuck has resided in Stephenville for the past 51 years having previously lived in Coleman. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Rebecca Malaer of Stephenville; children, Charles Jacobs and wife Janie of Bluff Dale, Jimmy Dalton Malaer and wife Emily of Bellevue, Malinda Mullins and husband Mike of De Leon, and Jesse Glen Malaer and wife Jenny of Coleman; grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Jesse, Alex, Monica, Breannah, Lauren, Hannah, William, Dacian, Maximus, and Bridgett; five great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Malaer of Shertz; many nieces, nephews and loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Marvin, Robert, Dalton, and Faye.
