Jimmie Rene Collier

Jimmie Rene Collier, 77, formerly of Stephenville, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at her residence in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at West End Cemetery in Stephenville with Rev. Sonny Buckingham officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Jimmie was born on February 24, 1936 in Cedar Point, to the late Gordon and May Bell Driskill Melton. She married Wayne Russell Collier on December 21, 1951 in Bluff Dale. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2008. Jimmie was a member of The Rock of Helps Church in Weatherford. She was a Baker and Cake Decorator by trade. She is survived by a son, Johnny Collier and wife Suzanne of Fort Worth; a daughter, Teresa Profitt of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Missy; Heather and husband Ryan; great-granddaughters, Meghan, Kailey and Jayci; great-grandsons, Remington and Declan. She is also survived by a sister, Mattie Chambers and husband Max of Stephenville; and a sister-n-law, Lillie Mae Taylor of Stephenville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
