Jim Kerr October 31, 1948-August 22, 2016 Jim Kerr, 67, of Stephenville died Monday, August 22, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Friday, August 26th at Cowboy Church of Erath County with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 7:00 Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Jim was born on October 31, 1948, in Stephenville to the late R. J. and Nell Barron Kerr. He married Donna Williams on February 18, 1986 in Granbury. Jim graduated from Stephenville High School in 1967 and attended Tarleton State University. He was a business owner, and a lifelong resident of Stephenville. Survivors include his wife, Donna; son, Kyler and wife Sarah Kerr of Stephenville; granddaughter, Macey; sister, Judy and husband Leon Oliver of Arlington. The family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
