Jim Branch, Ii

Jim Branch, II, 64, of Chalk Mountain, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Jim was born on November 14, 1958, in Llano, Texas, to the late James Delany and Kathleen Lucille Cardinal Branch.

Studying Petroleum Technology, Jim spent most of his life as a gas plant operator with the Sunoco Company moving wherever they sent him. After retirement he went into law enforcement and worked as a police officer.

Jim is survived by his wife, Oteka Paul-Branch; sons, Ryan and wife Courtne McKeithen of Fenton, Missouri and David and wife Jenna Branch of Elkhart, Texas, and daughter, Dana Kathleen and husband Luke Presson of Desoto, Missouri; grandchildren, Jaxon McKeithen, Dalton Pine, Austin Pine, Camron Branch, Dawson Branch, and Raelynn Presson; nieces, Michele Markum and Dalana Schneider.

Preceded in death, along with his parents, Darla Whittinghill and Marky Cantrell, his 2 sisters.

Jim loved to fish and duck hunt. He was an avid Gun collector and seized every opportunity to check out one more gun shop.

He was a member of the ATO (Alpha Tau Omega) fraternity.

A Celebration of Life memorial service for Jim will be held at a later date.
