Jewell Wyatt

Jewell Wyatt, 88, of Stephenville, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Stephenville. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Windham Cemetery in Brown County with J.J. Barton officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Jewell was born on January 29, 1924 in Brownwood to the late Claude and Bertha Malone Furry. She married Earl Wyatt in 1943. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1991. Jewell has resided in Stephenville since 2006 previously residing in Brownwood. She was an LVN and a Baptist by faith. Jewell is survived by her sons, Billy Wyatt and wife Barbara of Price, TX; Jim Wyatt and wife, Freddie of Stephenville; brother, Thurman Furry of Brownwood; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma St. Ama and Claudine Windham; one brother, Troy Furry.
