Jerry Parham

Jerry Parham, 80, of Stephenville, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Funeral services for Jerry will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 30th at Calvary Baptist Church in Stephenville with Ben McCleery officiating.  Burial will follow at Nancy Smith Cemetery near Glen Rose.  Visitation with the Parham family will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Jerry was born on March 2, 1944, in Stephenville to the late W. C. ‘Pete’ and Adina Carroll Parham.  He attended public school in Stephenville, and on July 4, 1963, married the love of his life, Jo Lowe.  Jerry served in the National Guard, and for several years served with the Stephenville Volunteer Fire Department, serving the organization as chief, as well as serving on the First Financial Bank Board of Directors. Jerry owned and operated for over 64 years, Parham’s Garage and Wrecker Service.  He was a lifelong resident of Stephenville.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jo; daughter, Kelly Parham; brother, Carroll and wife Beth Parham; and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be made to the Erath County Humane Society and would like to thank Wings Over Texas Hospice and his nurse, Regina.
