Jerry Frank Legan August 8, 1944 ~ April 10, 2016 Jerry Frank Legan, age 71, passed away at his home on April 10, 2016, due to health complications. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 15th at Graham Street Church of Christ. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Jerry was born in Waco, Texas on August 8, 1944, to the late Frank and Doris Legan. He grew up in Hamlin, Texas and graduated from Hamlin High School in 1962. He entered Tarleton State in the fall of 1962, and graduated with a degree in business administration in 1969. He became a realtor/broker in Stephenville and started his own real estate company, Pecan Valley Realty. During his 40 years in real estate he served as president of Stephenville Board of Realtors for many years and served as a local representative to Austin, representing the interest of home owners in Erath County. He enjoyed attending Graham Street Church of Christ until his health wouldn't allow him to attend. Jerry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pamela June Waldrip Legan of Stephenville; two sons Jerry Andrew Legan of Stephenville and James Thomas Legan of Granbury; a daughter Marisa Dorianne Legan Smith of Seward, Alaska; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Linda Legan of Waco, Texas. The Legan family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Stephenville Foster Home, Heart and Lung Association or The 700 Club.
