Jerry Keaith Jones

Jerry Keaith Jones, 67, of Stephenville, left this Earth to be with his Heavenly Father on October 22, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Jerry was born on September 27, 1955 in Gorman. Texas.  He married the love of his life, Donna Kay Drain, on September 28, 1973.  He served in the Army as an OH58 Crew Chief.  He earned a degree in Agricultural Science from Tarleton State University.  He and Donna settled in Stephenville where Jerry drove for UPS for over 32 years.  Jerry served God fervently, he was a disciple for the Lord.  He preached that God is love and was a bright light on this Earth that touched many lives.  Jerry lived to serve God however, his family was his most precious gem on Earth.  He loved his wife fiercely, and held an overwhelming amount of pride for his children and their spouses.  He loved his grandkids enthusiastically.  He will be missed by all.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Donna Kay Jones; son, Jerry Don Jones and wife Denise of Meridian; daughter, Ruth Ann Longer and husband Jason of Katy; grandchildren, Sarah Maegan Halvorsen and husband Jacob, Shelbie Marabella Jones, Shayla Madison Jones, Gwenyth Ruth Longer, Simon Patrick Longer, and Brooklyn Ilise Longer; great grandchildren, Braxton Christian Herrera, Kelso Jones Herrera, and Scarlet Rose Halvorsen, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jerry is now reunited in Heaven with his daughter, Sarah Jane Jones.
