Jennifer Everitt Casstevens, 45, of Hico, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Austin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 27th at Cowboy Church of Erath County with Gene Ruggles officiating. Burial will follow at Black Cemetery at Hico. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Jennifer was born on April 30, 1973 in Stephenville to Jim and Wanda Grissom Everitt. She married Kelly Casstevens on June 14, 1997 in Hico. Jennifer attended public schools in Hico, and graduated from Hico High School in 1991. She attended Tarleton State University where she received her Bachelor of Education. She taught at Hico ISD for almost 22 years. She and Kelly have lived most of their lives in the Stephenville/Hico area.
Survivors include husband, Kelly; son, Cole Casstevens; daughter, Kate Casstevens both of Hico; parents, Jim and Wanda Everitt of Hico; sister, Lara ‘Cissy' and husband Jason Kimsey of Fort Worth; nephews, Jack and Jared Kimsey; and her mother-in-law, Joyce Casstevens of Stephenville.
The Casstevens family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Jennifer Everitt Casstevens Memorial Endowment Scholarship, c/o Mills County State Bank, P. O. Box 248, Hico, TX 76457.
