Janie Daphene Wall

Janie Daphene Wall, 94, formerly of Stephenville, passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 in Fort Worth. Graveside Services will be held at 3:30 pm Monday, June 9, 2008 at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery Chapel in Erath County. Friends may call at Stephenville Funeral Home beginning Monday morning. Janie Daphene Wall was born April 17, 1914 in Evergreen, Hamilton County and was the daughter of Samuel Thomas Pointer and Alta Pearl Gage Pointer. She married Mack Walter Wall October 7, 1932. Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, and a brother, J. T. Pointer in 1993. Mrs. Wall was a long time member of Graham Street Church of Christ. Surviving family members are daughters, Juaneice Wall Woodard and husband Ole, of Fort Worth, Jean Wall McCullough and husband Harvey of Kansas City, Missouri; sons Sam M. Wall and wife Jolene of Bedford, and Mack W Wall and wife Patti of Stephenville; grandchildren, Brent Woodard, David Woodard, Gay Lynn Wall Sheets, Leann Wall Cole, Cynthia McCullough Fish, Cheryl McCullough Walker, Sarah McCullough Wallis, Troy Wall and Courtney Wall; great grandchildren Jenny Woodard Petty, Brian Woodard, Cameron Cole, Conner Cole, Mason McKay, Macie Sheets, Kristen Grile Chapman, Brandon Grile, Cole Walker, Christopher Walker, Adam Gibson, Andrea Gibson Kraft, Jennifer Wallis, Constance Wall, Zachary Wall, and great, great grandchildren Taylor Chapman, David Chapman III, Eva Grile, Torin Grile, Kyra Jean Grile, and Logan Kraft. Other surviving family members are sisters, Merlene Pointer Anderson and husband, Andy of San Antonio, Dorris Pointer Fry and husband Ray of Clifton, and sister-in-law Marie Pointer of Hamilton, along with several nieces and nephews.
