Janie (Bramlett) Frances

Janie Frances Bramlett, 73, of Bluff Dale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday June 6th at Glenn Cemetery in Bluff Dale.
Janie was born on August 30, 1946 in Stephenville to N.H. and Frances Renfrow Bramlett. She earned a Master's degree and worked for Richardson ISD as a High School Counselor until her retirement. After residing for many years in the Dallas area, she retired in Bluff Dale. Janie served as President of the Hood County Retired School Personnel Association for six years and was President of District 11 of the Texas Retired Teachers Association from 2017 to 2019. She was also active in the Bluff Dale Study and Garden Club. Janie was very passionate about serving her community, and she was loved and will be missed by many.
Janie is survived by her aunt, Lou Bramlett Stone of Bluff Dale; her nieces, Nicole Bolf of Aledo, and Natalie Olszewski of Dallas; sister-in-law, Nancy Bramlett of Aledo; great nephews and nieces, Justin, Mary, Molly, and Thomas Bolf of Aledo, and Grant, Sophia, and Kate Olszewski of Dallas; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Norman H. Bramlett, Jr.
