Janice Ann Taliaferro Weaver April 21, 1939 - January 17, 2018 Janice Ann Taliaferro Weaver, 78, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at Loveless Cemetery in Eden, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Janice was born on April 21, 1939 in Eden, Texas to the late Ovey and Basha Sockwell Taliaferro. She married the love of her life Don Weaver on December 30, 1957 in Eden and together they raised three sons. Janice held numerous jobs throughout her life, with a focus in the field of accounting and bookkeeping. Don preceded her in death on August 16, 2016. Janice life was devoted to her family and her church. After retirement, Janice enjoyed spending time with Don at their beautiful lakefront home on Lake Livingston. She loved to go fishing, camping and spend time with her family. Janice was a very active member of the Baptist Church. She resided in Stephenville for the past six years and was a member of the Pony Creek Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Daryle Weaver of Stephenville, Ray Weaver and wife Angela of Orange, and Gaylon Weaver and wife Diana of Converse; grandchildren, Miranda Weaver Woodall and husband Austin of North Richland Hills, Adam Weaver and wife Rita of Buda, Joshua Weaver and wife Jami of Beaumont, and Caleb and Timothy Weaver of Orange; great-grandchildren, Madee Lujan, Colt Woodall, Carter Woodall, and Henry Weaver. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ovey and Basha Taliaferro; husband, Don Weaver; and brothers, Lavelle and Billy Taliaferro.
