James E. Moser, 95, of Stephenville, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Smith Springs Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 am Friday before the service.
James was born on October 4, 1923 in Stephenville to the late James and Maggie Jones Moser. He married Lois Allene Hook on August 31, 1944 in Stephenville and she preceded him in death on August 15, 2014. James was a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Corp serving during WWII. He was a lifelong resident of Stephenville, working as a Manager for Shannon Supply Co. until his retirement. James was a member of the Graham St. Church of Christ.
Survivors include his grandsons, Chris Moser of Stephenville, and Tanner Moser of Houston; daughter-in-law, Linda Moser of Stephenville, sister-in-law, Loree Ford of Stephenville; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maggie Moser; wife, Lois Moser; son, Mike Moser; sisters, Faye Nichols, Loree Lindley, and Lucille Heaton; and a brother Jay Moser.
