James ‘Jimbo’ Moore, Jr., 58, of Stephenville, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Kory Koch and Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory. Visitation with the Moore family will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Jimbo was born on March 23, 1963, in Hico to the late James Monroe Moore, Sr. and Martha Ann McGehee Moore. He loved doing puzzles, and playing games, especially bingo. He did outdoor work, and loved ‘yellow box chicken’ (Chicken E). Jimbo was a Christian, a member of the Baptist faith. He never met a stranger, and he loved being with family.
Survivors include his sister, Carol and husband Jake Compton; brother, David Moore; nieces and nephews, Crysti and husband Dustin Monk, Jamie and husband Ronnie Stockstill, Sean and wife Jessica Moore, and Matthew Moore; great nieces and nephews, Shelby Monk, Hayden Monk, Braxton Moore, Zachary Moore, Grayce Moore, Pepper Anne Moore, and Jakob Stockstill; bonus nephew, Jacob Compton; and his bonus niece, Jessica Daniels; and his extended family residing and those working at Stephenville Nursing Home.
Besides his parents, Jimbo was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Moore.
