Jacqueline (Bates) Wallace, 86, died Saturday, February 26, 2022.

Jacqueline was born on January 30, 1936, to the late John Bates and Ruth (Rice)

Bates, in Goree (Knox County), Texas.

Jacqueline graduated from Goree high school in 1955. There after she became a homemaker and analyst for the MHMR center in Plainview, Texas. Jacqueline married the love of her life, Don Wallace, on February 28, 1964, in Munday, Texas, and were married for 58 years. She was a Christian and attended Cowboy Church in Stephenville, Texas where her and Don have lived for over forty years.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband Donald Wallace; daughters, Lisa Cummings and husband Kenneth Cummings, of Kingwood, Texas, and Donna Holland, and husband Rick Holland of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Michael Holland and wife Nikki Holland, Melissa Holland, Sean Cummings and wife Andrea cummings, Kyle Cummings and wife Jessica Cummings, and Lauren Cummings; as well as eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two cats Blossom and Karma Wallace.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Frank Ross Bates and Roxanna Babbin.
