Jackie W. Huey, 82, of Stephenville passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Carlton officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Jackie was born in Santa Anna, Texas on May 19, 1932 to the late Usco, Sr. and Myrtle McKenzie Huey. Jackie married Janie Roulston Hawthorne on December 23, 1981 in Stephenville. He was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church, National Cutting Horse Association, and has lived most of his life in Stephenville. Jackie was a cutting horse trainer and the owner of Huey Van Lines. Jackie is survived by his wife Janie; sons, Danny of Cleburne, David of San Angelo, and Harlon "Sonny" of Kansas; step-sons, Gary Roulston of Dublin, Barry and wife Joyce Roulston of Capitan, New Mexico; step-daughters, Debbie Roulston of Fort Worth, Terri and husband Paul Carlton of Stephenville, and Cheri Edrington of Stephenville; grandchildren, Mika, Buckie, Laurie, Justin, Brandon, Landon; step-grandchildren, Shaun, Christi, Lyndsey, Tricia, Sara, Ty, Ryan, Brayden, and Grayci; and numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Boaz of Balch Springs, Mary Alvarez of Stephenville. Jackie was preceded in death by his sister, Sybil Melchior; brothers, Babe Huey, Harlan Huey; and a step-granddaughter, Mindi Roulston.
