Irma A. Little

Irma A. Little, 94, formerly of Stephenville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Lake Granbury Medical Center. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:30 PM at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville with Rev. Howard Martin officiating. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Irma was born to the late Roy E. Willis and Irma Frances Wade on November 30, 1919 in Lubbock, Texas. She married Ferel W. Little on June 18, 1937 in Muleshoe, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2005. Irma retired as a bank operations officer, head cashier-teller for Farmers First National Bank after many years. After retirement, she enjoyed her family and grandchildren. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the UMW Maggie Poteet Circle, and a longtime resident of Stephenville. Survivors include two sons, Ferel Little and wife Sue; Steve Little and wife Marilyn; grandchildren, Wesley Little and wife Kay; De'Anne Evans and husband Michael; Seth Little and Matthew Little; great- grandsons, Eli and Ethan Little, Blake Evans; great-granddaughter, Madison Evans. Irma was preceded in death by a daughter, Irma Ferelene Little; a brother, R.E. Willis and a sister, Mary Francis Holt.
