Ira Austin Joy

Ira Austin Joy, 37, of Stephenville, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 in Stephenville Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Cotton officiating. The family will receive friends from6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Ira was born on January 28, 1975 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Ralph Joy and Betty Garrett Joy. He has resided in Stephenville since 1997 after previously living in Arizona. He was a Computer Tech for Our Town in Stephenville. Ira is survived by his family and friends who loved him very much, including his mother, Betty Joy of Gustine; father, Ralph Joy of Arizona; daughters, Chantel Joy and Monica Joy of Arizona; sister, Sandy Joy of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Ed Joy of Midlothian, and Dan Joy of Stephenville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roylee Richard Joy.
