Ima Lee Fair was born August 30, 1917, at Mt. Zion to Preston and Georgie (Hare) Eddleman and was raised in the Baptist Faith and died June 19, 2021 at age 103. She married the love of her life, Terrell Fair, on April 23, 1938, in Greens Creek. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2010, after 72 years of marriage.

They lived in various locations in central Texas, sharing a love and respect for the land in which they were honored by the Texas Farm Bureau. She loved gardening and quilting and was a member of numerous quilting clubs as well as the Erath County Home Demonstration Club. The couple enjoyed playing “42” with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Miles Eddleman, and loving husband and is survived by nephew Carson Loving (Sandra) and nieces Modesta Portwood, Shelby Tweedle (Jim), Pat Tyus (Billy) and several cousins.

The funeral is June 23rd at 11:00 A.M., and the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, visitation will be one hour prior at 10:00 A.M. she will be laid to rest at Erath Gardens of Memories.
