Ida Mae Mooney

Ida Mae Mooney, 89, died Friday June 11, 2010 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Laurel, MS, under the direction of Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home from 11:00 AM till time to leave for service. Ida was born May 10, 1921 in Union, MS to Royce & Edna (Shelton) Graham. She married George E. Mooney, Jr. on Sept. 7, 1942. He preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1985. Ida was a homemaker and had lived in Stephenville, since 1992 She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Herrington of Laurel, MS, 3 grandchildren, Montyna Cowan of Maple Valley, WA, Jerry Collins of Stephenville, TX, and Mike Collins, Of Frisco, TX, son-in-law, Bob Collins of Stephenville. Also surviving are 6 great grandchildren, Connor & Carson Collins, Lance & Koby Cowan, Nikki Osborne, and Colten Day. Ida was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Georgia Mooney, & Barbara Collins.
