H.W. O'Bryant

H. W. O'Bryant, 94 of Stephenville, died Saturday, April 11, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dan Murray officiating. Burial will follow at East Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, at Stephenville Funeral Home. H. W. was born March 2, 1915, in Stephenville to the late Arthur and Sue Jette Cherry O'Bryant. He married Marie Saffell, March 6, 1937, in Stephenville. She preceded him in death August 27, 1986. H. W. was a member of First Baptist Church since 1941, and was a life long resident of Stephenville. He retired from General Dynamics. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Sue O'Bryant of Stephenville; daughters and son-in-law, Rozelle and Dale Kratochvil of Fort Worth, and Linda Dickson of Stephenville; sister, Martha Catherine Griffin of Stephenville; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, H. W. Jr., 4 brothers and 1 sister.
