Homer Beau Pendleton, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away Tuesday February 2, 2010 at the age of 72 with his wife and children by his side. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday February 5, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Caldwell officiating. Burial: West End Cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Beau was born April 14th, 1937 in Dublin, Texas to Homer and Dandy Pendleton. He grew up in Alexander and graduated from Dublin High School. He married the love of his life, Frankie DeLois Bridges on October 26th 1956 in Stephenville. Beau was a life-long musician, singer, virtuoso guitarist, and songwriter. He retired from Brown and Root after many years as an engineering tech. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and a gentle soul to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Frankie; children Brent and Mary Pendleton of Olympia, WA; Kim and Marvin Jones of Stephenville TX; Stacy and Dale Dove of Bluff Dale; and Todd Pendleton of Stephenville; two brothers, Dag Pendleton of Dublin and Danny Pendleton of Stephenville. Beau was lovingly known as Bobo to eleven adoring grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
