Hollis Carl Skillman Jr.

Hollis Carl Skillman, Jr. 71, of Stephenville, died Monday, August 1, 2011 in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Hollis was born October 22, 1939 in Houston, Texas to the late Hollis Carl and Maddie Fay Griffin Skillman, Sr. He married Patsy Ruth Wooley September 16, 1962 in Stephenville. Patsy preceded him in death September 16, 2010. Hollis was a member of the First Baptist Church, and Home Builders Assn. He served his country as a U. S. Army Veteran. Hollis was a building contractor. Survivors include his daughter, Brooke Ann Josserand-Kimbler and husband Craig of Stephenville; grandchildren, Kody and Taylor Josserand; sister-in-law, Edith Nicholas of Stephenville; nieces and nephews, Pam Wooley Canady of South Dakota, Penny Mac Wooley Randolph, John Albert Wooley, Willis Wayne Wooley, and Dena Ann Nicholas Smith all of Stephenville He was also preceded in death by a nephew Douglas William Wooley.
