Henslee Enoch Aaron

Aaron Enoch Henslee, 97, of Lingleville, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Holston officiating. Interment will follow at the Desdemona Cemetery in Desdemona with Masonic Rites. Aaron was born on March 10, 1910 in Copperas Cove to the late Enoch Mac and Lilly Cramer Henslee. He married Margaret Catherine Davis on June 26, 1930 in Waurika, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on March 21, 1997. He married Ruthie Davis on September 25, 2000 in Comanche. Aaron resided most of his life in Desdemona and was a retired dairyman. He was a member of Oak Dale United Methodist Church. Aaron was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 70 years and was also a member of the Eastern Star. Aaron is survived by wife Ruthie Henslee; daughter, Sandra Loving of Lingleville; grandchildren, Michael Henslee of Weatherford, Mark Loving of Stephenville, Jeri Kaye Willis of Granbury, and Susie Cain of Maryland; great-grandchildren, Brittany Gutherie, Claire Willis, Tandilyn Cain, Aaron Cain, Colton Loving, Kendall Loving, and Macie Henslee; great-great grandchild, Brianna Guthrie. Step-daughter, Ruth Ann Lackey; and step-daughter-in-law, Tricia Tankersley. He was preceded in death by sons, Aaron E. Henslee, Jr. and Jerry Henslee; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
