Harold Wayne Lowe

Harold Wayne Lowe, 80, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Cowboy Church of Erath County with Werth Mayes and Dale Cartwright officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Dale Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Harold was born on June 23, 1930 in Erath County to the late Jessie (Dee) and Vera Green Lowe. He married Shirley Ann Gower on March 15, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on April 19, 2009. Harold has resided in Stephenville since 1988 after previously living in Tulsa for 31 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Navy. Harold was an air craft mechanic and inspector working for American Airlines for 31 years. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County. Survivors include his children, Debra Jane Hess of Tulsa, OK, Kathey Lynn Grodi of Branson, MO, and Jimmie Wayne Lowe of Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Cowboy Church of Erath County, Visitation Ministry.
