Harold Eugene Donaldson

Harold Eugene Donaldson, 84, of Stephenville, loving husband, father & grandfather died Friday, February 6, 2009 at a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic rites will follow at West End Cemetery.. Harold was born on Nov. 30, 1924 in Miami, FL. to the late Calvin and Martha Pope Donaldson. He married Theresa Holley on September 26, 1970 in Tampa, Fl. Harold was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and resided in Stephenville since 1982. He retired from AT&T as a supervisor in the overseas dept. He also retired from the US Army, and Army reserves, at the rank of Colonel. Harold was a Past Master of the Stephenville Masonic Lodge No 267 and the Clairette Lodge No 1052. He also was the Past District Deputy Grand Master, the Past District Instructor and 32nd Degree KCCH Scottish Rite Mason. Harold is survived by his wife Theresa Donaldson of Stephenville; daughters, Donna Kader of Tavares, FL.; Donna Anderson of Hico; Mary Ann Lomax of Dallas; a son, Leighton Lomax of Stephenville; and a grandson, Jeff Broneck of Lady Lake, FL.; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Altman, and 2 brothers, Austin, & Carl Donaldson. Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.
