Gwyn Cragwall

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Gwyn Cragwall, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Gwyn was born on January 26, 1929, near Carlton, TX, to Ernest and Hattie (Faulkner) Rasberry, and peacefully departed on November 3, 2024, in Stephenville, TX. She was a devoted U.S. citizen, dedicating her career as a Secretary of Human Resources for the State of Texas. She and her husband Albert enjoyed playing bridge and were lifemasters in duplicate bridge.

Gwyn's warm personality and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a lasting legacy in her daughter, Connie Pantin, son Albert Owen Cragwall III and nephew Gary Whitfield. Her grandchildren Claudia and Karina Pantin, and great-grandchildren Paula, Mia & Tomas Guevara, Oliver and Lucas Ruiz.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Gwyn's life at her graveside service, where we will honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life. The burial ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2pm at West End Cemetery, Stephenville, TX, offering a final opportunity to pay our respects to a woman who was truly cherished by all who knew her.

Though Gwyn may have left this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Gwyn was preceded in death by her husband , Albert Cragwall Jr., parents Ernest Rasberry & Hattie Faulkner Rasberry and her sister Connie Whitfield.
