Grady C. Weller, 87, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church with Father Calvin Girvin officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Grady was born on March 3, 1923 in Snyder, Texas to the late A.M. and Eula P. Murphree Weller. He married Sue Helen Bradshaw on October 1, 1950 in Abilene and she preceded him in death on December 24, 1998. Grady served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He attended the University of Texas at Austin starting his bachelor's degree and finishing at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. He received his Masters degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He worked for Pan American Oil Company and then as a Building Inspector for the City of Springdale, Arkansas and for the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He has resided in Stephenville since 1990 and was a member of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Grady was a world traveler and liked to dance, and to garden. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Grady is survived by his children, Barbara Jean Brinegar and husband Frank of Gorman, Sunna Suzann Cash and husband Steve of Springdale, Ark.., Grady Bradshaw Weller of Tujunga, California, John Christopher Weller of Springdale, Arkansas, and Sally Kathryn Reinhardt of Elizabeth, Colorado; a brother, Herman Weller of Sacramento, California; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.M and Eula Weller; wife, Sue Helen Weller; four sisters, and one brother. Memorials may be made to the University of Texas Alumni.
