Grady N. Harding

Grady N. Harding, 89, of Stephenville passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at his home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Orsini officiating. Burial to follow at Hannibal Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Mr. Harding was born on September 1, 1920 in Floydada, Texas to the late Thomas N. and Savola Belle Fulkerson Harding. He married Edna Idell Cook on January 3, 1953 in Carlsbad, NM. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2000. Mr. Harding has resided in Erath County most of his life. He was a WWII Veteran and had made a living most of his life cowboying. He is survived by three daughters, Jenny Jones of Grand Prairie; Wilma Dickerman of Phoenix, AZ; and Lynn O'leary of Joplin, MO; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vernon Elrain Wear.
