Grace Bounds

Grace Bounds, 85, of Stephenville, died Thursday, June 17, 2010, in Stephenville Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, at Mitchell Cemetery in Iredell with Joe Kohr officiating. Services under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Grace was born on October 18, 1924, in Manor, Kansas to the late Norman and Gena Reed Stires. She married Calvin Bounds, December 10, 1940 in Eldorado, TX. He preceded her in death October 1999. Grace was a member of the Harvey Baptist Church, and had lived in Stephenville since 1992; moving here from Fort Stockton. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Jean and husband Sammy Helmers of Stephenville; son, Wayne Bounds of Longview; sister, Edna and husband Bob Spencer of Brownwood; daughter-in-law, Debbie Bounds of Midland; grandchildren, Debbie and husband Ricky Carpenter of Stephenville, Donna and husband Mike Pasquino of Aurora, Indiana, and Brad Bounds of Midland; great grandchildren, Kaja and husband Luke Reagor of Stephenville, Brent and wife Chelsea Carpenter of Stephenville, Spencer Bounds of Midland, and Daleyn Bounds of Midland She was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Bounds. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the charity of the donor's choice.
