Goldie Alice Pack Fron

Goldie Alice Pack Fron, 87, of Tolar, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Fry officiating. Interment will follow at Huckabay Cemetery in Huckabay. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Goldie was born on April 27, 1923 in Huckabay, Texas to the late Samuel Alvin and Addie Elizabeth Moon Pack. She married Tony Fron on May 24, 1941 in Stephenville and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1996. She has resided for the past 46 years in Tolar and is a member of the Church of Christ. Goldie was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Linda Fron of Stephenville, Jerry Fron and wife Peggy of Tolar, Kevin Fron and wife Claudia of Tolar, Kathy Davis and husband Richard of Huckabay; sister, Sammie Dunn of Weatherford; daughters-in-law, Carmen Fron of Huckabay, and Laverne Fron of Denton; grandchildren, Charla Billington, Anthony Fron, Jesse Fron, Jason Fron, Heath Fron, Cory Fron, Jennifer Staggs, Jeremy Fron, Joey Fron, Amber Fron, and Austin Fron; and 14 great-grandchildren. Goldie was also preceded in death by sons, Alvin T. "Butch" Fron, Robert Fron, and Gene Fron; sisters, Verna Morren, Veda Millican, and Nina Hendrickson; brother, Nolan Pack; and a great-granddaughter, Mischa Fron.
