Glenn Richards

Glenn Richards, 89, of Stephenville, Texas, passed away Monday November 5, 2007 in Stephenville. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday November 7, 2007 at the Oak Dale Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Holston officiating. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday November 6, 2007 at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Glenn was born on May 2, 1918 in Erath County to the late Robert and Essie Richards. He married Dorothy Flesher on October 18, 1941 in Cleburne, and she preceded him in death on March 16, 1989. He was a lifelong resident of Erath County and a member of the Oak Dale Methodist Church. Glenn was a farmer and worked for TXDOT. He is survived by his sons, Bill Richards and wife Beckie of Stephenville, Larry Richards and wife Vicki of Baytown, Robert Richards and wife Deana of Burkburnett; grandsons, Jody Richards and wife Shawna, and Chad Richards; granddaughters, Amy Henderson and husband Kevin, Stephanye Brumley and husband Casey, Kimberly Benoit and husband Alex, Brandie Ackermann and husband Chris, and Christie Lewis; great-grandchildren, Kailey, Logan, and Kade Henderson, Alexis and Kendra Benoit, Jadyn Richards, and Curren and Celie Ackermann. Memorials may be made to the Oak Dale Methodist Church.
