Glenn Harris Mallory, 58, of Stephenville, was called home to our Lord on Sunday, January 3, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Johnson Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Glenn was born on February 28, 1951 in Freeport, Texas to Felix and Nanelle Harris Mallory. He married Judy Curry in La Porte on July 20, 1978. He graduated from Brazosport High School in Freeport, TX in 1969 and from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Business Administration in 1973.Glenn was self employed and worked in the oil field chemicals industry for many years. He has resided in Stephenville since 1994 after previously living in Katy. He was a Baptist. Glenn was devoted to his family and he proudly served in the community. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and was at home on his ranch and in the great outdoors. Glenn is survived by his wife, Judy Mallory of Stephenville; son, Shane Mallory of Austin; daughter, Courtney Mallory of Austin; brother, Roger Mallory and Linda Pyka of Jones Creek, Texas; great uncle/aunt, Joe and Betty Mallory of Jones Creek; mother-in-law, Juareene Curry of Pasadena; brother-in-law, Dewayne Curry and Janice Curry of Yorktown; brother-in-law, Mike Curry and Stephanie Curry of Deer Park; nephew/niece, Eric Curry and Melinda of Humble; great-nephew, Jake Curry; great-nieces; Jenna, Jordyn and Jaci Curry; nephew/niece, Chuck Curry and Charlie Jo of San Antonio; great-niece, Ryan Curry; nephew/niece, Bob Curry and Heidi Curry; great-nephew, Jimi Curry; nephew, Will Curry of Deer Park; nephew, Luke Curry of San Antonio, Tx; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
