Glenda Teal

Glenda Teal, 77, of Alexandria, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Stephenville, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Robinson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Alexandria, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, July 10, 2009 at the funeral home. Glenda was born on June 20, 1932 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Jack and Vada Bell Dyer Sawyer. She married Leon Teal on October 4, 1985 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1997. Glenda has resided in Bluff Dale for the past 2 years after previously living in Alexandria. She retired as a property manager and was a member of the Hope Baptist Church in Alexandria. Glenda is survived by a son, Mike Woodard and wife Judy of Bluff Dale; grandchildren, Michael Woodard and wife Renet of Bluff Dale, Teri Sheafer and husband John of Venus, and Kyle Woodard of Bluff Dale; great-grandchildren, Colby Woodard, Taylor Woodard, Jacob Woodard, Jennifer Sheafer, Paul Sheafer, and Macie Woodard; and sisters, Joyce Wageck, Carolyn Perrill, and Janice Sternfels.
