Gertrude Miller

Gertrude Miller, 80, of Stephenville, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Dr. Dan Murray officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Gertrude was born October 12, 1928, in Fisher County, Texas to the late Arthur and Bertha Zimmerman Haley. She married Orval Miller on July 24, 1946. He preceded her in death September 28, 2007. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Joe Griffin of Stephenville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike Miller of Stephenville and J. R. and Connie Miller of Stephenville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Glen Haley of Fort Worth; and a sister Addie Echols of Fort Worth. Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by two brothers.
