Georgia Aline Williams

Georgia Aline Williams, 90, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Forney. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Greens Creek Baptist Church with David Blagg officiating. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive visitors at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm before the service. Georgia Aline was born on September 11, 1920 in Sidney, Texas to the late Charles and Anna Estellee Garrison Linders. She married Homer H. Williams on March 27, 1943 in Alpine and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2003. Aline has resided in Stephenville since 1990 after previously living in Newell, West Virginia. She was a member of the Greens Creek Baptist Church and worked for the Homer Laughlin China Co. as a pottery worker. Aline is survived by sisters, Ella Marie Sutton and husband Royce of Forney, and Helen May of Brownwood; adopted daughter and son-in-law, Connie Barham and husband Dan of Stephenville; grandchildren, Dusty, Cody and Jaci; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Itha Gilbert, Christine Edwards; and a brother, Ernest Linders Memorials may be made to the Greens Creek Baptist Church building fund.
