Gary Lance Mccleskey

Gary Lance McCleskey, 57, of Dallas, died Friday November 21, 2008 in a Dallas Hospital. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 24, 2008 at Johnsville Cemetery in Erath County. Under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Gary was born January 9, 1951 in Erath County to the late Jesse D. and Sarah Skipper McCleskey. Gary was a graduate of Stephenville High School and Tarleton State University. He worked several years at Tarleton State University while working on his business degree. He worked the last several years as an educator at SMU in Dallas. Gary lived most of his life in Erath County, and the past 18 years in Dallas. He is survived by his brother, Richard McCleskey of Stephenville; niece, Mindy and husband Aaron Pope of Stephenville; nephew, Mack and wife Amy McCleskey of Waxahachie; two great nieces, Lauren and Emma Pope both of Stephenville; and many many friends. Family wishes memorials be made to Grace Place through First Baptist Church, or to the charity of their choice.
