Frieda (Garrard) Arndt

Frieda Arndt, 81, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, in Ranger, Texas. She was born on September 25, 1941, in Crawford County, Illinois, to Ralph Garrard and Mary Brubaker Garrard. Frieda lived in Robinson, Illinois where she married Eddie Gene Arndt on April 18, 1959. She later moved to Texas and worked at Tarleton State University in Environmental Services before retirement. Her husband, Eddie passed away on December 10, 2010.

Frieda is survived by her three children; Robbin Bennett of Oblong, Illinois, Rodney Arndt and wife, Judy, of Stephenville, Texas, and Randy Arndt and his wife, Tammy, of Eastland, Texas, her grandchildren; Amanda Stone and her husband, Rusty, Andrew Wartsbaugh, Aaron Wayne Wartsbaugh, Amber Woodruff, Laura Robertson and her husband, Ricky, Justin Travis Arndt and his wife, Lauren, Brandon Arndt, Brittany Arndt, and Tamara Rold and her husband Ethan, her nine great-grandchildren, and her brother; Earl Garrard.

Frieda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie, both of her parents, and one brother, James.
