Frank Morecock

Frank Morecock, 61, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday July 3, 2008 at the Valley Grove Baptist Church in Stephenville with Rev. Glenn Shock officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm Wednesday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Frank was born on March 1, 1947 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Bernard and Edith Morecock. He married Debbie Phelps Roberts on September 16, 2007 in Stephenville after a friendship of many years. Frank was the Animal Control Officer for the City of Stephenville and a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed drawing, playing his guitar and playing with his band, metal detecting and listening to classic rock music. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Roberts and her son, Shea of Stephenville; a daughter, Lindsey Henderson and husband Michael Shane of Brenham; a granddaughter, Brittany Henderson; sister, Dougie Bowman and husband, Bob Scutter of Richmond, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
