Forrest Eldon Caraway

Forrest Eldon Caraway, 86, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday at Rock Church Cemetery in Hood County. Forrest was born on July 23, 1924 in Tolar to the late Robert Bruce and Agnes Gifford Caraway. He graduated in 1947 with a BS degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M University. Forrest was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a U. S. Army Veteran, and a long time resident of Stephenville. He was a fertilizer salesman, and a farmer/rancher. Forrest is survived by his wife, Julia Anne Curlee Caraway; daughter, Carole Elizabeth Caraway of Fort Worth; brothers, R. B. and wife Annette Caraway of Wharton, TX and Charles T. Caraway of Covington, LA; nephews, Bruce and wife Sherri Caraway and Brett and wife Jessica Caraway; great niece, Lauren Caraway; and a great nephew, Avery Caraway Forrest was preceded in death by a son David C. Caraway in 2004, and by a niece, Sandra. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Texas A&M Alumni Assn.
