Floyd Fincannon

November 2nd, 1941 – May 24th, 2024

Floyd Fincannon was born on November 2, 1941 to his father D.M and his mother Ara Mae Fincannon. He passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 with his loving wife Virginia by his side.

Floyd and Virginia were married December 27, 1961 in Stephenville, Texas and spent most of their married life in Morgan Mill, TX. In addition to being a cattleman, Floyd worked at Poston Feed Mill for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife Virginia, son Justin (Chris) Fincannon of Ohio, and daughter Teresa (Kevin) Dolberry of Arlington, Texas; sisters and brother, Tina Hyche of Alabama, Joyce McCamey of Proctor, Texas, Neva McCracken and Nett Wilcoxon of Stephenville, Texas; J.D Fincannon of Whitney, Texas and Debbie Sublett of Beeville, Texas. He is also survived by numerus niece and nephews, and special grandkids Shauna, Ryan, Jade, and Rhen.

Floyd is preceded by sister Dorothy Jean Gilbreath and his parents.

The family wants to thank CCS Hospice for Floyds care.

It was Floyd’s wishes to not have a funeral service, but donations may be made to Morgan Mill Cemetery.
