Finley Earl Pritchett

Finley Earl Pritchett, 96, a loving father, passed from this life on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Glen Rose A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Finley was born on July 30, 1914 to the late Wilton A. and Edna Parramore Pritchett. In 1936 he married Annie Marie Broyles, and together they raised two sons Robert Finley and Stephen Douglas. Annie preceded Finley in death, five weeks to the day, on Sunday January 9, 2011. Finley and his wife Annie were immersed in the many activities of the United Methodist Church, and he also was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had lived the past year and a half in Glen Rose; moving there from Hurst. Finley for many years served as District Manager for A&P Food Stores, and was Area Representative for The Coleman Company. Family and friends certainly grieve the loss of both Finley and Annie, and yet each acknowledges how profoundly they were-and are-affected by their lives. Finley is survived by his two sons and their wives, Robert and Linda of Hurst, and Stephen and Margie of Glen Rose, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
