Felipa Garcia

Felipa Garcia, 78, of Dublin passed away Wednesday August 29, 2012 in Stephenville. Services will be held Saturday September 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Phillip McNamara officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Rosary will be held Friday at 8 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Felipa was born to the late Raymond Gomez and Rosaria Vasquez on May 26, 1934 in Ballinger. She married Lupe Garcia on October 22, 1950 in Ballinger and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2006. Felipa was a housewife and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Felipa is survived by seven sons; Joe and Judy Garcia of Missouri, Gary and Anna Garcia of Fort Worth, John and Cindy Garcia of Stephenville, Paul and Becky Garcia of North Carolina, Lupe Garcia Jr. of Baytown, Roland Garcia of Houston, Ruben and Mariel Garcia of San Antonio, one daughter; Rachel and husband Cat Rivera of Decatur, two sisters; 20 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Felipa was preceded in death by a grandson Chris.
