Faye Pack

Faye Pack, 85, of Huckabay, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 23, 2014 at Huckabay Cemetery with Jimmy Holleman officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Faye was born on February 12, 1929 in Erath County, Texas to the late Ben and Winnie Parker Price. Faye married Clark Pack on November 2, 1946 in Erath County. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1996. Faye lived in Huckabay most of her life and was a member of the Baptist church. She worked as a cook and maintenance person at the Huckabay School. Faye spent many hours rocking babies and being a Mema to numerous little ones at her daughter's day care. Faye is survived by her daughters, Darlene Barfield and husband Gene, Debby Lowe and husband Randy, Deanie Green, Doris Chick and husband Gary all of Huckabay; grandchildren, Linda Stewart Missy Peterson, Johnny Barfield, Jodie Wilfong, Courtney Chick, Lacey Chick, and LeAnn Green; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sister, Sandra Elliott; sister-in-law, Patsy Price, and numerous nieces and nephews. Faye was preceded in death by her brother, Bennett Price; a daughter, Donna Pack; two granddaughters, Shauna Lowe and Tristan Green. The family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Huckabay School Library.
