F. L. Welch

F. L. Welch, 67, of Dublin, passed away Thursday August 5, 2010 in Stephenville. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Dublin Live Oak Cemetery with Werth Mays officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. F. L. was born on January 13, 1943 in Gorman to the late Carl Leon and Bertha Starky Welch. He resided most of his life in Dublin and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Boucher and husband Danny of Stephenville; grandchildren, Justin Eoff of Stephenville, and Jaclyn Basham and husband Cramer of Krum; great-granddaughter, Harlee Basham of Krum; brothers, Leon Welch, and Connie Welch; sisters, Fonda Thompson, and Barbara Holland; also survived by several nieces and nephews. F.L. was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue Matthews; brothers, Eddie Mac Welch, and Larry Don Welch; and a nephew, Mac Welch. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
