Evelyn Erickson Martin, 91, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Stephenville. Entombment will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home, and Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. Evelyn was born October 25, 1917 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to the late Oscar W. and Juliane Lunderby Erickson. She married Haskell Horace Martin, January 2, 1946 in Grand Forks, ND. He preceded her in death May 7, 1999. Evelyn was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church in Stephenville. She has spent the past 5 years in Stephenville, moving here from Redwood City, CA, where she lived most of her life. Evelyn was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Julie and James Whitley of Stephenville; granddaughter, Juliana McCaskill of Denton; grandson and his wife Joseph & Rosi St. Clair of San Ramon, CA; and by a brother, Dr. Leonard Erickson of Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by a brother and one sister.
