Evelyn Ridings Harmon

Evelyn Ridings Harmon, 68, of Morgan Mill, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at the Morgan Mill Cemetery in Morgan Mill. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Evelyn was born on January 4, 1943 in San Saba to the late Andrew and Lucille Peel Ridings. She married Cecil Glenn Harmon on September 6, 1990 in Gordon. Evelyn was a Seamstress and she lived in Erath County most of her life. Survivors include her husband, Cecil; daughter, Sherrie Day; sons, Michael Day and Mark Grote; step-daughter, Cindy Harmon McKay; step-son, Cecil Lynn Harmon; brother, Larry Ridings; sister, Betty Crouch; four grandchildren, Byron Thurman, Chad Coats, Michael Day II, and Meagan Day. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Destiny Thurman, five sisters and two brothers.
