Evelyn LaFoyl Wood Caudle September 7, 1924-July 11, 2017 Evelyn LaFoyl Wood Caudle, 92, of Granbury, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Carrollton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Acton United Methodist Church with Rev. Wade Killough officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Evelyn LaFoyl was born on September 7, 1924 in Hico, Texas to the late Christopher Columbus Wood and Mattie Nora Barham Wood. She married the love of her life, Rodolph F. Caudle, on September 8, 1944 in Dallas and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2006. Evelyn worked for many years in purchasing for both Orange Public Schools in Orange, Texas and then for TXU. She was an active member of the Acton United Methodist Church and had resided in Granbury since 1981. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Holly Caudle DeLeon and husband Phillip of Austin; son, Chris David Caudle and wife Judi of Corinth; grandchildren, Danielle Jones Menoskey and husband Mike of Round Rock, Allison Jenkins-Schickel and husband Matt of Austin, Casey David Caudle and wife Sarah of Lewisville, Christian Wayne Caudle of Burleson, and Jay Damian Lowrey and wife Tamala; and 8 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Dee Caudle; and brothers, Norval G. Wood, and Lowell Wood; and a sister, Frances E. Page. Memorials may be made to the Acton United Methodist Church 3433 Fall Creek Hwy, Granbury, TX 76049
